归来游子“此心安处是吾乡”,来往旅客“未晓前路翘首以待”,每一段记忆都在心间生根,推动时间缓缓流走。设计概念将“归来游子”与“来往旅客”来到上海的状态与心境用建构的方式传达,来到上海的记忆与故事如同自然中植物的生长,“归来游子”以自然为灵感的播种、生根、发芽、攀爬、开花到结果的一系列过程隐喻建构,“来往旅客”短暂却璀璨的邂逅如光一般闪烁。将厚重与轻盈在不断变化的时间、光线中仿佛亘古不变。
Returning wanderers "this place is my hometown", and the travelers "waiting for the road before dawn". Every memory takes root in the heart, pushing time to slowly flow away. The design concept conveys the state and mood of "Returning Travellers" and "Traveling Travellers" in Shanghai in a constructive way. The memories and stories of coming to Shanghai are like the growth of plants in nature. "Returning Travellers" take nature as inspiration to plant seeds, The metaphorical construction of a series of processes of rooting, sprouting, climbing, flowering and fruiting, the short but brilliant encounters of "travelers" flicker like light. The weight and lightness seem to be unchanging in the ever-changing time and light.

场地位于上海虹桥机场T2航站楼东西方向的中轴线与到达一层楼前广场的交汇处,经过对场地受众人群、虹桥机场文化、声音、照明、层高、视野、人流、周边环境的分析与调研,将线性、交织、竖向、管状、向上、轻盈、立体等关键词提取,将播种、生根、发芽、攀爬、开花、结果等几何抽象化建构,给人们暗示的同时也给人们以遐想的空间。
The project is located at the intersection of the east-west axis of Shanghai Hongqiao Airport T2 terminal and the square in front of the first floor. After analyzing the audience, Hongqiao Airport culture, sound, lighting, floor height, vision, people flow, and surrounding environment And research, extracting keywords such as linear, interweaving, vertical, tubular, upward, lightness, three-dimensional, etc., and abstractly constructing the geometry of planting, rooting, sprouting, climbing, blooming, and results, giving people hints and space people use imagination.

以自然为灵感同样体现在新型复合结构设计中,装置的承重结构由先进的纤维复合材料以3D打印技术的数字化建造方式实现,设计构件通过机械化无芯纤维缠绕成型,具备了轻盈、高效和富有表现力的特性并实现夜间灯光效果,而这种前沿的设计与建构方式也体现了上海的包容,开放与创新精神。在生物学中,大多数的承重结构都属于纤维复合体,它们由纤维素、几丁质或胶原质加上用以支撑和维持稳定性的基质材料构成。生物结构的惊人性能和优越的资源效率均来源于这些纤维系统。它们的组织构造、方向和密度经过了精确的调整和局部改变,以确保材料仅出现在必要的位置。项目将这种生物学原理以及高度差异化的纤维复合材料系统转化为一种设计结构。因为有着与天然复合材料相同的基本特征,项目所运用到的人造玻璃纤维增强塑料有利于设计目标的实现。
Taking nature as inspiration is also reflected in the design of the new composite structure. The load-bearing structure of the device is realized by the digital construction method of advanced fiber composite materials and 3D printing technology. The design components are formed by mechanized coreless fiber winding, which is light, efficient and rich. Expressive characteristics and achieve night lighting effects, and this cutting-edge design and construction method also reflects Shanghai's tolerance, openness and innovation. In biology, most load-bearing structures are fiber composites, which are composed of cellulose, chitin or collagen plus matrix materials to support and maintain stability. The amazing performance and superior resource efficiency of biological structures are derived from these fiber systems. Their organization, direction and density have undergone precise adjustments and local changes to ensure that the material only appears in the necessary position. The project aims to transform this biological principle and highly differentiated fiber composite material system into a design structure. The artificial glass fiber reinforced plastics used in this project are very conducive to the realization of the design goals, because they have the same basic characteristics as natural composite materials.
